THE IMPORTANCE OF THE VISUAL INSPECTION

If you are in any doubt why this is so important then the photo on the left should bring it home... this was a mains lead on a tall fridge in a cafe that I inspected this year. The wire had been trapped under the edge of the fridge and the users of the kitchen were very close to electrocuting themselves whenever they opened the fridge door! The most important monitoring safety measure is done through regular ongoing visual inspection. This takes two forms; the user check and the formal visual inspection. Yet many employees do not understand what is required. This is where I can help your business.... I can offer tailored made training that will educate your employees on their responsibilities and help them contribute to their own safety in the workplace.

Visual Inspection Training

Visual Inspections are the responsibility of all users of an appliance. Do you and your staff know what to look for and how to carry out this important health and safety measure? Would you like help with up skilling your workforce? I offer a short training session on visual inspections and their place in PAT Testing. If you would like further details please contact me using the form below.
